What Is Drain Jetting?
Drain jetting (also known as high-pressure water jetting) is the most effective method of cleaning and clearing drainage pipes and culverts. A high-pressure hose is fitted with a specialist nozzle, then fed into the pipe, where it releases powerful jets of water to break up and flush away blockages, sediment, grease, silt, and debris.
Unlike rodding or chemical treatments, jetting clears the full bore of the pipe and not just a channel through the obstruction. This leaves the pipework properly clean and flowing freely.
It’s suitable for a wide range of pipe sizes, from small domestic drains through to large-diameter culverts and public sewer mains.
